Trainright time trial

Ride easy for three minutes and then start the first field test effort. It is rare for an athlete to legitimately execute two identical FTP test efforts. The image below is indicative of an athlete who most likely paced the field test, aiming for a predetermined output.

If you have questions about your recent or upcoming field test, consider taking advantage of our free Coach Consultations. Also, keep in mind, that even though I talked primarily about power today, the CTS Field Test and subsequent training ranges are equally effective using heart rate only. Thank you for this writing. Perfect timing for my program, Thanks for your informative letters…….

Great article! Last week I did the field test following the process outlined in the TCC book. I did the test on my indoor trainer which provided the power numbers. The first test power graph was a u shaped curve. Doing laundry with the tennis player Michael Chang, having lunch with South Africans, playing foosball with other American athletes. It was one big international party. My sister and I saw many sunrises from hitting the clubs all night.

The lines were long, but Olympic credentials got you VIP treatment and instant access. John passed away a few years later when he was hit by a careless driver while riding south of Ft.

Collins, Colorado. He and I roomed together when we moved to the Olympic Village after our race and I got to know him pretty well. I found him to be quiet, kind, and smart. I climbed with Phinney after he pulled all day to the finish. Killington was such a great race! Hey Scott!!! Great read. Can you tell us the time you over shot that corner descending into Oxnard CA on our training ride. Will never forget that.

I still have the asphalt tattoos from that crash!!! Clipped pedals at speed on sinuous descents are rarely a good time! Halllo Scott Thanks for your article. I rode the Rapport Tour with you in which you won. Greate heering from you. Ive got a magazine with nice pics from you and the Saturn team.
